Casey and I are running the
Heels and Hills half marathon on May 1. It will be Casey's 1st, my 2nd and Positive A's 3rd. I'm pretty excited about it. We gave ourselves a team name...Operation: Lose a Booty.
I've got 13 more pounds that I would really like to get off!
Since my half marathon 2 weeks ago, I haven't really done much running. Some of it has to do with my work schedule, but mostly, it's b/c my hip still hurts :-( I thought by now it would be feeling better, but I guess I was wrong. If I'm going to run on May 1, then I need to get my mileage back up again. a few measly miles a week isn't going to get me where I need to be!
You will be okay. You just ran a half marathon and you are in shape. Running just a few miles a week is okay. I ran a couple of days a week between the dallas race and my mardi gras race. You will do great!!! I just finished my recap of the race on my blog. Come check it out!
