So, I didn't make my 3 milestones this morning. I ended up not doing my long run. My left leg has been bothering me since last Sunday. It has gotten better after some rest but acted up after my short runs during the week. After my 5 mile run on Friday morning, it was bothering me a lot and wouldn't stop. It got worse Friday night. I wore heels all day Saturday and the pain was terrible. I went to a concert last night (Hillsong United - and they were AMAZING, BTW), stood the whole time and was really in pain. I canceled my run for this morning.
I feel really bad about not getting my long run in this week...but I'm a bit ahead of schedule, so I don't think it will take me too far off schedule.
I'm planning on taking it easy this week, with a few days off in the beginning of the week...and hopefully picking back up by the end of the week.
I pray that rest will get rid of the pain and that it isn't anything serious...I mean, my first Half Marathon is in exactly 3 weeks! I'm so ready for it!
